6 Things To Help Get You Through Winter | Babbleboxx HerStory1. Pick up a Book

Reading is something I always want to get better at but just can’t. I need to set small achievable goals I guess. Any tips on reading more books? These 3 are on my list right now and you would love them if you love books about strong amazing women #girlpower.

Call Your Daughter Home is a tour de force novel exploring injustices surrounding race, class, and poverty in the years leading up to the Great Depression, as told by three fierce, unforgettable Southern women.

The Bookshop of Yesterdays is about a woman who inherits a beloved bookstore and sets forth on a journey of self-discovery.

The Cliff House is about the bonds between family and women, a heartwarming story where sisters discover that the path to true happiness is filled with twists and turns, but love always leads them back home.

There’s nothing quite like a cute pair of spring shoes, amiright? These espadrilles are super comfy and perfect for spring. They go with so many outfits! Did you know Earth Shoes plants a tree with every purchase? Pretty cool right?! Their shoes are also made responsibly and with as little material possible.

For real, stop what you’re doing and run to get a massage. It’s the best hour you can spend when you’re tired and tense (aka me every day). Hand & Stone has facials, massage, etc and they practice Swedish massage which is so relaxing. It involves long, fluid strokes of muscles and tissues with pressure that varies from light to medium to firm, up to you! Hello, wellness! The massages are $49 or $59 for the Swedish massage based on your location.

How cute is this G-SHOCK Watch from Casio? The rose gold face has me all heart-eyed emoji over here. It’s super cute for a sports watch. Here are the specs: 200M water resistance, auto LED light, 4 daily alarms, 1/100th-second stopwatch, and countdown timer.

They have so many pretty rose gold ones check them out below!

As you know, I’ve been on the clean beauty kick and I’m sort of obsessed with finding new clean brands. This Knours cleanser is EWG Verified (so that’s basically all you need to know) but it’s basically a double cleanse in one. You pump some into your hands, massage it all over your dry face, add some water to your hands to suds up, then rinse off! It’s super easy. My favorite way to cleanse at night is with an oil cleanser.

It’s always a good time for a cocktail! This ROOT artisanal mixer is uh-mazing. It’s made of all natural and organic ingredients and tastes so good! I have the Hibi-Hibi flavor which is a hibiscus tea (so yummmmy). The best part is you don’t have to leave your house to get it, it’s available on Amazon! Plus the mixer and copper shaker would make a perfect gift, super cute.
