Hey, Beauties! In anticipation for this baby girl, I’ve been preparing and getting our game plan together for when she gets here. I do feel like I’m 1000x more prepared than with our first but I still have a lot to do. We will be using a lot of things from when Emery was a baby because a lot of it was great (baby essentials//everything you need for a baby series coming very soon). I have also picked up a few things that I’m hoping will solve a few issues we had before. So here are a couple new things we’re trying with baby number two.

A Couple of New Things We’re Trying With Baby Number Two

Dockatot Co-Sleeper/Lounger

So we just got the Dockatot Grand (9-36 months) and the Dockatot Deluxe (0-8 months). And so far my daughter Emery is loving hers and will not sleep without it I can’t wait to use the grand for baby when she gets here. I’m thinking we’ll use it for a lounger more than the co-sleeper but we haven’t decided yet. One of the biggest problems we had was what to put Emery in when she napped because it was all around the house and we didn’t want to move her swing around and every day.

Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock

The next issue we had was how to put the infant carrier in the cart when we were shopping. With the Binxy Baby hammock you can put baby directly in the hammock (it has a little seat belt and everything) or you can also rest the infant carrier in it. I can’t wait to use this and see how we like it! it looks so comfy, I wish there was a cart hammock for adults! You can shop Binxy right here.

Ollie Swaddle

Another problem we had was finding the perfect swaddle and then actually being good at swaddling (my husband was better at it than I was). I am SO excited because I think this is the perfect solution. The Ollie swaddle is so soft and stretchy (made of nice & thick fabric too) AND it has velcro closures so there’s no unraveling like the traditional muslin swaddle. The foot-end also has a little elastic tie that is sewn into the swaddle to collect and keep the end closed. In my opinion, this is brilliant and I can’t wait to use it. It’s definitely going in my hospital bag. Shop for Ollie swaddles right here.
