Today I’m sharing my first sort-of pregnancy related post! I plan on doing one pregnancy/baby related post a week along with the normal beauty related post a week once I get back into my blogging routine. Today I am sharing my baby bump care products, what worked for me.
Here’s what I’ve been using to keep my skin moisturized during pregnancy!
The biggest multitasker in the beauty world. I love using this as a moisturizer, especially overnight. You can find coconut oil at most grocery stores. Also, google the benefits of using coconut oil if you haven’t already!
Nourish Organic Skin Solve
This is another multitasker that I plan to put in my diaper bag. Skin solve has tons of oils and vitamins to help your skin. This can be used similarly to coconut oil (on pretty much anything). The scent is amaiiiiiizing, sweet orange and rose hip. This is one of my all time favorite brands, they’re organic and amazing. Shop Nourish Organic Here.
Nivea Cocoa Butter
I have always been a fan of Nivea body lotions. This one smells so so good and absorbs instantly, it also has Vitamin E which is important in keeping your skin healthy and moisturized plus antioxidant properties.
Nivea Smooth Sensation
This is another one that absorbs and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling. Shea is supposed to help with smoothing skin and helping collagen production so this is another one to keep in your rotation of moisturizers. I think I got these Nivea lotions at Ulta Beauty but they can be found at most drugstores.
Having a good balance and rotation of different products has really helped keep my skin healthy and itch free. There are many factors that determine the cause of stretch marks. Using these products isn’t going to guarantee no stretch marks but they will help keep your growing skin healthy and soft. I think having a good moisturizing routine beforehand also helped, I didn’t just start a daily moisturizing regimen as soon as I got pregnant.
What are your favorite skin moisturizers/lotions/body butters?
