Back to School Makeup ft Essence
This post is sponsored by essence and Her Campus Media. All opinions are my own.
Hey, friends! I am so excited about today’s post because I filmed a video on this look as well. You might have already seen it on Instagram, but today I’m sharing the full look and links to shop the products. Essence is one of my go-to brands because they are SO affordable. They always have the trending products too, so you can try the strobing look or the metal lip and not break the bank. The look I created is a super clean simple makeup look with a bright pink metal lip. PS Read to the bottom because I have a 20% off coupon code for you!

Face
The first thing I did was use primer and BB cream.
Then, I used the All I Need concealer palette. I love this palette because it has shades to color correct dark circles and redness and also has nude shades to conceal. The cream formula is nice and blends out well.
Next, I used one of my favorite products the Light Up Your Face palette. It has 3 shades of highlighter. I love the first one for under the eyes because it’s not sparkly but gives me a glow.
Then I highlighted my cheekbones with the Pure Nude highlighter in shade be my highlight.
Eyes
For eyes, I used the contouring eye pencil. One end has a tan shade for contouring the crease and the other end is a highlighting shade for the center of the lid, inner corner and under the brow. I just blended that with a tapered brush and my fingers. It’s a really creamy and easy to blend formula.
For brows, I used the Make Me Brow powder duo. I just mix the two shades together and lightly fill in my brows with an angled brush. I make them slightly darker towards the end/tail. After filling them in I use the Clear Brow Gel to comb through, blend, and tame.
Then I used the Volume Stylist Lash Extension mascara. It has lengthening fibers and does a good job of lengthening and volumizingĀ in 2 coats. I did a video on the two Volume Stylist mascaras, I’ll include it below.
Lips
Lastly, I used the Metal Shock Lipstick in shade 04 Ace of Hearts. The formula is creamy and it’s very pigmented. I love to play with these, the metal look is so fun and they have 7 cool shades. I have a swatch video of these below!
