Banana Setting Powder

Hello & Happy Weekend! It’s hard to believe Friday is here again, this week went by so fast. I have been super busy with planning content and filming videos which I am really excited to share with you soon. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend planned! Here is my Friday Fav: Banana Setting Powder.

Setting Powder

If you aren’t familiar with setting powder, it’s just a powder you apply over your foundation and concealer to “set” it. Setting your foundation helps control oil and also minimizes pores. When you set your under eye area you’re preventing your concealer from settling into lines and looking blotchy. Setting powder really creates a smooth finished look and you want to make sure you’re pressing it into your skin, not dragging it all over. (I can film a video demo-ing this if you think it would help!).

*Tip: If you have dry skin, setting powder might not be in your best interest. If you have oily skin, I would use the setting powder all over. If you have combination skin, use the powder only in your oily areas.

Bella Pierre

Bella Pierre is a cruelty-free brand. They don’t use talc in their powders which is what makes powders settle into fine lines and look “cheap”. Their products are also hypoallergenic, paraben-free, and suitable for all skin types.

Banana Powder

I love their banana setting powder because it is talc-free and feels velvety smooth. It looks really natural and lasts all day. The yellow tint is perfect for covering purple/blue dark circles in the under eye area (more on color correcting later!).
