Why I Use Dove Deodorant | Spoiler Alert: Skincare Benefits!

As a beauty blogger, being faithful to one brand for a product means a lot. That’s because there are so many things to try and it’s sort of my job! Deodorant and toothpaste are the two things that I buy on repeat because they are probably the two most important products I use.

I’ve always had issues with deodorants and finding ones that actually work, especially in the summer. I have sensitive underarms to the point that shaving became too painful so I started waxing them so I could at least do it a lot less often. So since I wax, my deodorant (what’s going to be on my underarm 24/7) needs to be something soothing and good for my skin. I had no idea there were deodorants that actually did more for your skin besides keep you smelling good and feeling dry. As does every other millennial, I read reviews on all kinds of deodorants before I chose Dove. Here are just a couple of reasons I switched! “Love how Dove goes on smooth and doesn’t irritate the skin. Smells wonderful and works continuously throughout the day!” – melloddie “This deodorant is amazing. The smell is so gentle and it goes on smooth and is making my armpits softer. It lasts all day into the next.” – nuthegreat. Like, who wouldn’t want soft and smooth underarms?!

I am a huge pusher of moisturizing and if you read my blog you know that. I’m always giving tips and routines with moisture, moisture, moisture but I never thought about my underarms!  With Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant you get 48 hours of odor and wetness protection plus skincare benefits with its NutriumMoisture formula and Dove ¼ moisturizers. All of that means you’re going to smell good, stay dry, and feel smooth, whaaaaat else can you ask for?! Switching to Dove was a no-brainer. I’ve been in love since switching and I don’t plan on using any other deodorant, like ever. I use the shea butter and the soothing chamomile but they have a bunch of different scents to choose from.
