Carpet powder is one of the easiest DIY’s & so effective in deodorizing and freshening up carpet/upholstery
I use about 1 cup baking soda + 20-30 drops of essential oil
I poked holes in the top of this mason jar lid so I can sprinkle the powder on, let it sit for 20 min (at least) then vacuum up.
For this recipe I used *clean & fresh*, an essential oil blend of Fir Needle, Lemon, Grapefruit, & Neroli Essential Oils. Any citrus or tree oils would be great! Lavender is also a popular one, the possibilities are endless. What blend are you going to try first?

✨aligning✨ has been my favorite sweet uplifting & centering oil for a looong time now.
It’s a blend of rosewood, spruce, frankincense, German chamomile & roman chamomile.
⭐️DID YOU KNOW⭐️
Rosewood EO is rich in linalool (like lavender EO) which has powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It’s great in skincare products as well as DIY’s like deodorant.

This is so easy to make and the girls love having their own perfume to use ✨
1 tsp beeswax
1 tbsp almond oil
6 drops EO of your choice or a mix! For this one we use Unicorn from Simply Earth, it’s a blend of grapefruit, lemon, orange, and Jasmine so pretty and uplifting!
Melt the beewax + almond oil, let cool a bit then add the EO. Fill a small tube with the mixture and apply to pulse points!

FRIDAY FIVE
5 things I’ve been working on this week for my wellness.
1. ORAL CARE // I’ve been using my copper tongue scraper from @keekooralcare, if you haven’t researched the benefits of using one of these I highly recommend it. I use it mainly for oral & digestive health and better breath. I also have their Mega Watt whitening pen and I love it bc it’s so easy to use! I’ll keep you posted on before and after pics.
2. HORMONES // I’ve been using an essential oil and wild yam (nature’s progesterone) blend to balance my hormones for a few years. It, along with my vitamins and minerals, helps with regulating my mood, period, and period cramps. The one I use is Harmonious Healing from @revive_essential_oils.
3. SUPPLEMENTS // I take the Mary Ruth organics liquid multivitamin, a probiotic, collagen and currently Saffron for extra support. Staying consistent with these every day supps and using extra ones by listening to my body is key. Things I take on occasion are digestive enzymes, fiber, and magnesium.
4. MOVEMENT // another one that consistency is key with. I have been doing Pilates & Barre classes 3x a week at our local Y and just now after 3 months I’ve noticed significant change. I LOVE both of these classes and highly recommend for moms bc it’s a lot of core and stabilizing muscle work but low impact.
5. FAMILY TIME // quality family time for us means intentional time spent together doing anything outside or even our Friday game night. No phones, just good hangs and enjoying the girls. I hate how fast they’re growing so I’m trying to soak it all in.

I love making custom lotions for skin concerns or just for the aromatic purposes, who doesn’t like scented lotion? The ones from Bath & Body Works or Target are probably not clean and could be messing up your hormones or making allergy/asthma symptoms worse. Use these instead!
These recipes are for a 1oz jar of lotion
Make sure your lotion is clean/natural and fragrance-free
DRY HAND RELIEF
* 5 drops Lavender essential oil
* 4 drops Geranium essential oil
* 3 drops Frankincense or Helicrysm essential oil
* 2 drops Patchouli essential oil
CALM MIND
* 4 drops Roman Chamomile essential oil
* 4 drops Bergamot essential oil*
* 3 drops Lavender essential oil
* 2 drops Vetiver essential oil
SPA VIBES
* 5 drops lavender essential oil
* 4 drops vetiver essential oil
* 3 drops sandalwood essential oil
* 2 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
CONCENTRATION BOOSTER
* 4 drops Rosemary essential oil
* 4 drops Lemon essential oil*
* 3 drops Cedarwood essential oil

We called this weekend our *bonus* summer weekend bc the temp was 70-80 and it was glimpse of what summer here will be like. We spent a lot of time outside exploring everything around our new area & I am just filled with gratitude.
With that being said our pastor said something today that made me stop and think. It’s just a reminder really (that we can all use from time to time). Social media is a highlight reel, we share the good things that we want to remember and I personally share things that I hope inspires people. But absolutely do we have hard days, hard weeks, heck, hard months so I just wanted to check in with you and see how you’re doing. If you’re struggling with discontentment, anxiety or just lack of joy in your life maybe it’s time to take a social media break and focus on truth (aka the Bible) and spend more time with your community.
Anyways, I hope you had a great weekend. I’m excited to share some new content this week on oils, skincare, and wellness. 🤩

Someone pinch me, our oldest just turned 7 and I don’t know how that can be possible. Everyone warns you about how fast time flies but you can’t imagine it until you’re actually in that stage of life looking back. Now with 2 girlies already in school we are starting to think about their futures and if we can prevent them from having to pay off student loans until they’re 50 then we will.
