Everything You Need for a Girl’s Night Out

Thanks to Burt’s Bees for collaborating with me on this video. As always, all opinions are my own.

Hey ladies! Today’s post is all about getting ready for a girl’s night out. I’m sharing all the tips and products you’ll need to look and feel your best. Girl’s night is all about dressing up and having fun so let’s get ready!

Everything You Need for a Girl’s Night Out

AMP UP YOUR MAKEUP

Pick a radiant foundation that will give you a glow and a brightening concealer for your under eyes. I used the Burt’s Bees® Goodness Glows Liquid Foundation and Burt’s Bees® Concealer, it’s such a good combo! Don’t forget a highlighter too!

If you don’t usually wear eyeshadow then wear some shadow! If you don’t wear eyeliner everyday, add a winged liner.

Whatever you do, don’t forget your lipstick and go for a bold color! The Burt’s Bees® Liquid Lipsticks are the smoothest and shiniest lipsticks ever. They are 100% natural and have Apricot and Babassu Oil, Shea Butter, and essential fatty acids so they’re super hydrating, not to mention all of the colors are gorgeous. You need to try them asap if you haven’t yet, you can shop for them at CVS and at cvs.com. Don’t forget to throw one in your purse for touch-ups! Two of my favorite colors are rhubarb rapids (the bright pink) and peony puddle (the orange-y shade perfect for fall).

Check out these shades exclusive at CVS:

  • Rhubarb Rapids
  • Survive cruise
  • Primrose Pool
  • Blush Bay
  • Peony Puddle
  • Pouring Nude

FOR THE TRESSES

I love adding some waves to my hair for a night out, but there are so many ways to spice up straight hair too. Spray on some texture spray (dry shampoo works for this) and add a braid! Make sure to pull a few pieces out and loosen it up so it doesn’t look too perfect, the messier the better.

ADD SOME SPARKLE

This doesn’t have to be actual sparkles, but maybe a leather jacket or high heels? Something to spice up your look and make you feel cute. You can also opt for big sparkly earrings or a statement necklace. My go-to is something black with a pop of sparkly earrings.

GET YOUR GLOW ON

The day before your night out apply some self-tanner to give yourself a glow.

NAILS: NEUTRALS OR BOLDS?

This one is up to you, I personally prefer a nude/neutral nail but whatever you decide is perfect. Painting your nails and slapping on some self-tanner can make you feel like a million bucks.

GET READY TOGETHER

My favorite part about going out with my best friends is getting ready together. So play some music, make some yummy cocktails, and get ready together!

SMELL AMAZING

Don’t forget your favorite fragrance!

  1. I’ve never tried Burts Bees makeup before, but it looks stunning on you! I need to look into whether I can get it in London!

  2. Those Burt’s Bees lippies look AMAZING! I never thought of them as being glam before, but my opinion has certainly changed! Burt’s Bees is now on my shopping list!

  3. These are fun looks! I normally use more eye makeup than usual when I’m going out. I normally only bother with mascara and defining my brows, but I add liner, a bit of shadow, and an extra coat or two of mascara.
