Everything You Need For a Toddler | Toddler Must-Haves
Hi, beauties! Today I’m sharing a #momlife post. If you only come for the beauty don’t worry, we’ll get back to that on Friday. Emery is 2 years and 3 months old now and things are completely different than they were even just a few months ago. I feel like they learn so much so fast that everything you thought you knew about being a mom changes in the blink of an eye. I have a few tried and true things that help when things get a little “terrible two” crazy, some outing essentials, and random things so let’s get to it!
Everything You Need For a Toddler | Toddler Must-Haves
DockATot
*GIFTED* The “transition” to a big girl bed hasn’t happened yet because she hasn’t started trying to climb out of the crib and has been sleeping good in the crib still. But when she’s sick or wants to come sleep with us the DockATot Grand is great. It’s also going to be a lifesaver when she moves to a regular-sized bed when the baby comes. You can shop DockATot right here.
Bombol Booster Seat
*GIFTED* Say hello to independence and not wanting to sit in the high chair anymore! This booster seat has been so helpful because Emery feels like she’s sitting at the table like a big girl and it’s so small and portable you can even take it to restaurants. You can shop the Bombol seat here.
Tervis
We also have switched to the sippy cups with straw lids but having the Tervis has been helpful because it’s a “big girl” cup and they have cute designs like Disney characters etc. I like putting a straw in the Tervis as well because that helps with not spilling as much if it tips over.
Chalkboard
We painted on a whole chalkboard wall in E’s room (which was really easy and affordable + it’s cute) and she loves it. She like that she can write on the wall and erase it herself. It’s been a hit, I def recommend it.
Nontoxic Baby Products
This one is beyond important. For a long time, I didn’t read labels or research ingredients. Just because something is labeled for a baby or a child doesn’t mean it’s safe. There are tons of products loaded with synthetic fragrances that are disrupting hormones and that’s just skimming the surface. We only use Young Living baby shampoo and body wash. It can be diluted by 3 which makes it last like a year. It smells amazing and I know I don’t have to worry about our health being affected. Essential Rewards
I was a firm Amazon Sub & Save before I discovered Young Living’s “clean” version of it. Essential Rewards (ER) is a monthly wellness box that you curate each month. You get free stuff and tons of points back to use on products (where ya at on that one Amazon?). I get everything from diaper cream to wipes to sleep support oils that work WONDERS for both girls. Velcro Shoes
We have had velcro Converse these since Emery was a baby (in different sizes obvi). They are the BEST for easy getting on and off and STAYING on. I tried so many shoes with her and these are the best. I get them a TJMaxx or eBay for the best prices. Plus they are cute enough to wear with a dress or just to wear with play clothes.
Easy Outfits
June & January is the best for cute, simple, unique, and high-quality pieces. They’re just so stinking cute too and the girls can match which I love. I also love getting single pieces at Old Navy when they’re on sale. I’m talking leggings/shorts and tops. They always have multiple ones that you can mix and match with and it makes a super easy fast COMFY outfit. It makes it easier if most of them match too when she wants to pick out her own outfit. #independence
We’ve been slowing trying to get rid of all of her crappy toys and only getting nice/educational ones (sort of Montessori, sort of not), let me know if you want me to do a post all on toddler toys!

You’re daughter is such an angel! So precious!! And that booster seat would’ve been amazing for my nephew when he was a toddler!!

Your daughter is the cutest! What a great post for must-have items.
Thank you Katie!
My son is 10 months old and I don’t know what we would do without our Dockatot and Costco baby wipes. They are the two most used products we have, with the exception of diapers!
