FALL MAKEUP LOOK & FILMING WITH ACUVUE® BRAND CONTACT LENSES
I recently got my annual eye exam at Target Optical® which was super convenient to fit into one of my normal Target shopping trips. After the exam I got ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses so today I’m sharing my experience with those and how it’s made things a whole lot easier.
I have been doing a lot of filming lately so wearing my glasses isn’t possible when I’m doing makeup tutorials. I also do product photography for brands so taking pictures has been easier without my glasses being in the way of the camera.
ACUVUE® BRAND CONTACT LENSES
So now a little about the actual lenses! I got the ACUVUE® OASYS® Brand Contact Lenses 1-Day with HydraLuxeTM Technology, they are 1-day lenses which is nice because I just use them for the day and throw them out after. The HydraLuxe™ in the name means they have tear-like properties to work with the eye’s natural tear film to help with comfortability. They do feel comfortable on my eyes and it didn’t take me long to get used to wearing them. Overall I’m super happy and my day to day work has been a lot easier.
Okay, so I also filmed a makeup look with the products I picked up in my first post/fall Target trip so I’ll add that below! You can get everything I used in the tutorial at Target, the main goal of this look was to create a fun affordable fall makeup inspired makeup look.
MY FALL MAKEUP LOOK
I started with a glow mist to prime my skin and get a glow (this stuff is a must-have). Then, I used concealer, a dupe to a different concealer. I used bronzer/blush duo and I have been obsessed with this palette which is infused with water & vitamin E. It’s a nice cream to powder formula that blends really well. I used one of my favorite highlighters, it’s a rose gold shade and looks beautiful on the skin. For my eyes I used a palette and my favorite mascara. I used a brow powder to fill in my brows then finished with a liquid lipstick.
