Hey, guys! I hope you’re having a great week! Today I’m sharing my latest Target trip to get some fall goodies +makeup for a fall inspired look! Fall is also the time of year that I get my annual eye exam and this year I fit it in my weekly Target trip and it was super easy. I even had Em with me and it went well (that’s how easy it was lol). So I’m just going to share my fall goodies and my experience with Target Optical®.
Fall Target Trip & Target Optical® Eye Exam
Making the Appointment
All you have to do [seriously] is go to targetoptical.com and make your appointment online. They send you an email confirmation so you don’t forget and I also got a coupon in my email *bonus*. I’ll attach a screenshot so you can see the questions asked to book the appointment.
I literally walked in, filled out one sheet of paperwork/info, and had my exam. It took like 20 minutes. I didn’t have a ton of questions because I am usually a get in and get out type of person. I got my updated prescription and I will be getting my ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses soon! I decided to go with these because it’ll be more convenient when I’m doing product photography and filming tutorials (because obvi I can’t wear glasses). I’ve heard great things about ACUVUE® and can’t wait to try them for myself.
I got a few things from the Target Dollar spot section because I literally can’t pass that section without getting something. They had some super cute fall decor and good smelling fall candles.
I also got some makeup to do a fall inspired makeup look. I got the e.l.f. blush/bronzer duo because it was new and looked amazing. I also got an e.l.f eyeshadow palette which has better color payoff than some high-end shadows I’ve used. I got another L’oreal Lash Paradise mascara because it’s myyyyyy favorite right now. I picked up a concealer (NYX HD) because $5?! yes please. and lastly I got a Maybelline lip color in the shade grey envy. The look will be an easy/minimal face, nude eye, and gray/mauve nude lip so be on the lookout on IG for it!
Have you been to the Target Optical®? Did you even know it existed? It can’t be more convenient & I def recommend it! Check targetoptical.com to see if there’s one in your area.
*Tip* If you’re new to contacts, like me, here’s a cool tutorial all about contacts.
Thanks for reading today! Have a great week.
