Fall Transition Makeup

Hey, everyone! Thanks so much for reading today, I’m sharing my favorite fall transitional makeup (if you couldn’t tell by the title). I hope you all had a great weekend! We went to the downtown market, church and grocery shopping. I’m starting 8fit today which is a workout/meal plan app and it also has some yoga too! I’m super excited, I just get bored with the same workouts so I just slowly quit on my own. I also never know what food to make so I can’t wait to get some good healthy ideas. Anyways here is myĀ Fall Transition Makeup! xx

Face

Primer/Foundation

I’ve been obsessed with the smoothing primer by Makeup Forever (I will link all these products down below in the shop section) it smoothes my face and fills my pores without drying my skin or making me look flaky. I tend to use more foundation instead of only BB creams and tinted moisturizers (even though my Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is a fave all year round). I’ve been looooving the Makeup Forever HD Foundation, it gives you a flawless smooth canvas for all other goodies *aka bronzer/blush/highlighter*

Bronzer

Fall transition bronzer means out the shimmers and the ButterĀ Bronzer and in with the mattes and more sculpting bronzers. I love the Tarte Amazonian Clay bronzer and Elizabeth Mott’s whatupbeaches. I also use more cream bronzers during the fall, I love cream sticks because they’re so easy to use and blend.

Blush

I have not been a blush person until lately. I got a Pacifica blush duo in my Ipsy bag and fell in love! *Tip:Ā don’t judge a blush until you try it on, I always think “oh that is not my color” when it just might be! Most of the time they look different on your skin than they do in the pan. I’ll link my new obsession down below but try to transition to more mauve or berry tones.

Highlighter

For the most part, I think highlighters are all universal and can be used all year but during the fall I do tend to gravitate to more warm shades of highlighters like golds and champagnes. I’ll link my faves below.

Eyes

Liner

I usually never wear eye liner in the spring or summer but the fall I do on occasion. I like a simple baby winged out look or just thin line on top. Sometimes I just use eyeshadow for this as well.

Shadows

Shadow is another thing I usually only wear in the fall and winter. I don’t know about you but my makeup is MINIMAL in the summer so fall is the time to play it up and in a big way with shadows. My mind is spinning with eye looks for fall so let me know if you want some video tuts!

Brows

I usually don’t Ā change much with my brows except maybe just doing them a little more dramatically/darker. I am still LOVING the Benefit brow products (all of them) but especially the precisely my brow pencil and gimme brow.

Lashes

During the fall I want more volume for a more dramatic look so I’ll link my favorite volumizing mascaras below. I’ve been loving two different ones, a drugstore, and a high end. The Loreal Lash Paradise is amazing and only about $10 or less. The YSL Beauty The Shock mascara is also uhhhhmazing but not $10 unfortunately.

Lips

Fall Shades

Okay, lips might just be my favorite part of fall makeup (nails are my overall favorite fall transition). There are just so many dark nudes/neutrals and berry shades to die for! I’m obsessed with ALL fall lip shades and formulas. I will definitely be doing a post on fall lip shades alone, so I won’t get too much into it here but I will def link my faves below.
