June Monthly Wellness & Beauty Favorites

Monthly Wellness & Beauty Favorites You’ll Love

Hey friends—welcome back! I’m so excited to share this month’s lineup of wellness tools, beauty must‑haves, and a few DIY essential‑oil recipes straight from my home to yours. Before we jump in, remember to browse my Etsy shop for digital aromatherapy guides, printable planners, and journals that make essential oils simple and fun. You’ll find coupon codes and all the direct links at the end of this post. Here is: June Monthly Wellness & Beauty Favorites.

Why a Filtered Showerhead Changed My Hair & Skin

First up, let’s talk shower water. I recently swapped our standard showerhead for the Eskin Filtered Showerhead, and the difference is night and day. Installation took five minutes & my hair immediately felt lighter, cleaner, and far less “gunky”—even though we’re on city water. The pressure is that “just‑right” medium: powerful enough to rinse thick, long hair but still water‑saving. If you’ve been wondering whether a shower filter is worth it (city or well water), I’m here to say 10/10—yes!

My Acupressure Mat: Tiny Spikes, Huge Relief

Next is the acupressure mat that everyone on Instagram keeps asking about. Mine is an older Ajna model (currently unavailable), but plenty of similar mats live on Amazon. Picture hundreds of spiky floral discs that press into your back, releasing muscle tension and triggering a deep relaxation response.

How I use it:

  • 20 minutes, most nights, usually shirt‑free.

  • Flat on the bed for lighter pressure, or on the hard floor when I need intensity.

  • I also like to pair it with my red light which I’m sharing next…

Why I love it:

  • Eases back knots (it single‑handedly fixed a six‑week lifting injury!).

  • Promotes better circulation and lymph flow.

  • Helps me fall asleep faster and sleep like a rock.

Red Light Therapy with the LumeBox

Speaking of recovery, meet the LumeBox—a portable red + near‑infrared light panel with a built‑in 12‑minute timer. I use it while laying on my acupressure mat (best nap ever!). Benefits include:

  • Boosted morning energy and circulation.

  • Faster healing for bumps, bruises, and rollerblading injuries (ask my kids!).

  • Relief from tension headaches when I aim it at the back of my neck.

If you’re curious about red light, there’s solid research on skin repair, pain reduction, and even hormonal balance. I’ve snagged a discount code worth $260 offclick here to shop.

Cutest Portable Diffuser for Patio Evenings

Pure Enrichment makes my favorite home gadgets, and their mini cordless diffuser is no exception. Charge it, add water plus your go‑to oils, and bring spa vibes to the picnic table. Right now I’m loading it with “Bugs Away” and other citronella‑forward blends to keep mosquitoes from crashing family dinners. Battery life lasts several hours, and it’s tiny enough to toss in a tote.

Beauty Stars from My FabFitFun Summer Box

  • Olaplex Clean Volume Detox Dry Shampoo – Fresh scent, zero chalky residue, and hair actually feels clean (Kristin Ess lovers, you’ll get the hype).

  • Kopari Glow Protect & Glow SPF 50 – A sheer, fluid mineral sunscreen that doubles as my lightweight summer foundation. Layers beautifully without the tacky mask effect.

  • Ahimsa Dry Shampoo Mist – Perfect for gym days; spray before your workout to absorb sweat, then refresh after you rinse off. Smells like a jasmine garden in bloom.

  • 2 Tbsp witch hazel

  • ½ cup distilled water

  • 10 drops lavender essential oil

  • 3 drops peppermint essential oil
Shake in a fine‑mist bottle and keep in the fridge for post‑pool cooling.

Non‑Clogging Summer Serum (1 oz dropper)

  • ½ Tbsp jojoba oil (rating 0)

  • ¼ tsp rosehip seed oil (rating 1)

  • 2 drops blue tansy

  • 2 drops lavender

  • 1 drop tea tree

  • 1 drop frankincense
Apply nightly in place of heavy lotion—my skin has never been smoother or softer after ditching conventional moisturizers for two months.

Feel Good: The Scent of Summer in a Bottle

The “Feel Good” essential‑oil blend from Revive’s Summer Box smells like a sunset beach vacation: lavender, bay, grapefruit, orange, yuzu, frangipani, saffron, and wormwood. I’m diffusing it nonstop and whipping up whipped body butters, salt scrubs, and a spray perfume so I can carry that pool‑day aroma everywhere.

That wraps up June’s favorites! From filtered showers and spike‑filled mats to glow‑boosting red light and DIY skincare, these finds are truly game‑changers for holistic wellness.
