Mani Monday | Featuring OPI and Ciaté London

Hi, guys! I filmed a mini tutorial on my quick and easy at home mani so I wanted to share on here too. I hope you all had a fun weekend! It was super cold here so we spent most of the time inside snuggled up. We have a busy week this week so I’m ready to get it started. Here is my Mani Monday | Featuring OPI and Ciate London.

I do this routine every week (most weeks). I try to get it in during nap time but that doesn’t always happen. Freshly painted nails just give you that boost of confidence.

File

I like to clean up the edges and shorten my nails if I need to. I always get the Beauty Secrets files from Sallys, they just last a long time and are cheap.

Buff

I use a fine buffing block to smooth the tops of my nails and smooth the edges as well. I also get these from Sallys.

Prime

I love using the Orly primer before polishing because it preps the nail and the polish stays on better. It’s an alcohol base, you could probably just use alcohol in place of this if you wanted to.

Polish

I have just been obsessed with OPI lately. They have my 2 all time favorite nude polishes, Tiramisu for Two and Be There in a Prosecco. OPI just goes on smoothly and dries so fast, I’m loving it. The shade I used in this tut was Tiramisu for Two.

Top Coat

I got this top coat in my January Ipsy bag, it’s the Ciaté Gelology, and LOVE it. It gives a super shiny plump looking finish. My polish did last a bit longer than without it. I’ve been using this everytime I do my nails.
