Monthly Wellness & Beauty Faves You’ll Love (Clean Girl Edition)
Hey friends! I’m so excited to be sharing my monthly favorites with you. I used to do these all the time when I was into beauty blogging, and it feels so good to bring them back. If you enjoy these kinds of roundups, let me know in the comments—I’d love to keep doing them. Before I start, just a quick reminder: I have an Etsy shop filled with digital aromatherapy guides! I’m a certified aromatherapist and have been using oils for years. You’ll find guides on everything from hormone balance to specific wellness topics. And if you ever want to shop for anything I talk about, I always link it on my Like to Know It page to make it super easy for you. Here is: Monthly Wellness & Beauty Faves You’ll Love (Clean Girl Edition).
Haircare Favorite: Loma Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo and conditioner duo has been my go-to since Christmas—believe it or not, I got it as a white elephant gift! It’s from a brand called Loma (shoutout to my friend Rain who introduced me to it—she’s all about natural wellness too).
What I love:
The fragrance is natural
The first ingredient is aloe, not water! That’s rare and so hydrating.
My hair feels soft, healthy, and hydrated. The shampoo doesn’t leave it dry, and the conditioner makes it super soft—like, can’t-stop-touching-it soft.
Kitchen Gadget Win: Almond Milk Maker
This one is here to stay! I’ve had my fair share of kitchen appliances—egg cookers, rice cookers—you name it. But I always go back to the basics…until now.
I’ve been using a nut milk maker and making almond milk weekly. It takes 15 minutes and the result is amazing.
Why I love it:
Saves money big time.
Zero weird ingredients—just almonds and water (add vanilla or dates if you like!).
It’s better for you than store-bought almond milk packed with gums and preservatives.
Minimalist Makeup Faves
I’m all about keeping it simple with my makeup—five products in five minutes. Here’s what I’ve been loving lately:
Mascara: Still using my trusty Lash Paradise by L’Oréal—been using it since high school!
Merit Beauty: Their clean beauty products are so good. I’ve been using the Complexion Stick and Bronzer Stick (both blend beautifully), and their brush is amazing.
Brows: The E.L.F Instant Lift Brow Pencil is only $3 and lasts forever. Not too soft, not too waxy—just right. I also love the Vapour Beauty Architect Brow Gel for setting and filling in my brows.
Body Care Staples
These body products are oldies but goodies for me:
Osea Andaria Algae Body Oil: Clean, luxurious, and smells so good. Leaves my skin soft and glowing.
Versed Retinol Body Lotion: Fragrance-free, simple, and super effective. I apply it right after my shower. Versed is one of my favorite skincare brands right now—it’s clean and easy to find at Target.
I also highly recommend their facial cleanser—it’s effective and doesn’t dry out my skin.
Skin Nourishment: Face Oils & Tallow
A sweet subscriber sent me a whipped tallow balm from Olive Grove & Tallow Co. that contains blue tansy—my favorite essential oil! I’m still nervous to use it on my face because I’m super sensitive, but I’ve been loving it otherwise.
At night, I’ve also been using Oil of Myrrh Face Oil, which is a lovely blend of jojoba, olive oil, myrrh, and frankincense. It smells incredible and feels amazing on my skin. Definitely worth checking out!
Final Thoughts
That’s it for this month’s favorites! I kept it mostly in the beauty and wellness lane, but maybe I’ll do a more holistic-focused one next month. Let me know what types of products or themes you want to see in future monthly roundups.
Thanks so much for being here and supporting this little space. Don’t forget to check out the links below and browse my Etsy shop if you’re into aromatherapy guides. Until next time!
Thank you!
