Hello! & Thank you so much for reading, I’m so glad you’re here! Today I want to review my October Ipsy Glam Bag because it was a really good one!
First up is a lip stick. It is City Color Be Matte Lipstick in Cappuccino. The color is not my favorite, and it is really similar to a Cailyn Lipgloss I just got last month. I swatched both of those in the picture to show how similar these two are, the Cailyn lipgloss is just glossy, and the City Color is matte. I do like the formula for this being a matte lipstick, it is dry but a chapstick applied just before really helps with that and it seems to last awhile and the color is very pigmented.
Next is a Doll10 highlighter which I was really excited to get. I love the cream formula of this highlighter and also love that it it isn’t sparkly. It goes on really nice and blends well with a brush or finger for a perfect subtle highlight. I have never heard of this brand before but so far so good!
Another product in my bag was Figs and Rouge hand cream in Mango Mandarin. I love the subtle smell of this lotion, it is not overpowering. This goes on sort of like a (matte sticky) feeling if that makes any sense, but dries fine and leaves my hands soft without being greasy. I do like this lotion and would buy it again, it has really cute packaging.
ModelCo VOLUMEYES Mascara in black is up next. It is a good quality mascara, one I will use but not replace my everyday one with. It has a nice plump brush similar to the Urban Decay Perversion brush, just not as plush and soft. This mascara is buildable and doesn’t clump.
Lastly is a package of facial cleansing wipes by Skyn Iceland, which I hadn’t heard of before. I am a huge fan of cleansing wipes to take off makeup. These wipes definitely did the job and left my face feeling clean. The wipes had a lot of soap on them and you could actually see bubbles on each wipe which made me think they would leave a residue on my face but they didn’t and I was happy with them.
