Oil Cleansing +My Favorites

Oil Cleansing +My Favorites

Hello! Thanks for reading my post today! I’ve been really into using oil cleansers lately so I wanted to share how I use them and what some of my favorites are. You have probably heard of the double cleanse (and if you haven’t click here) and this is basically just the first step of that. Sometimes I use a regular cleanser after and sometimes I don’t, depending on how lazy I’m feeling.

Oil Cleansing +My Favorites

Dermalogica Precleanse

This is a lightweight liquid oil cleanser. I pump some into my (dry) hands and massage it all over my (dry) face, then add some water to turn it into a milky emulsion. It smells amazing and removes every trace of makeup/dirt/etc. It doesn’t irritate your eyes so you can use it to remove your eye makeup. It also won’t clog your pores, it’s for all skin types.

Julep Cleansing Oil

This is also a lightweight oil that has antioxidants. I use this almost the same as the Precleanse above. I pump some into my hands and massage it all over, eye area too. Then I remove this with either a washcloth or a konjac sponge to exfoliate.

Skinny & Co Facial Oil

I had to include this one too because it’s been my favorite coconut oil ever. It has lavender essential oil so you know that’s why I’m sold for life lol. It melts into your skin and doesn’t leave an oily residue. I use a warm washcloth to remove it then sometimes I stop there and sometimes I follow with my normal cleanser. PLUS Skinny & Co only uses clean ingredients.

Elemis Cleansing Balm

This is a luxe balm that melts into your hands and skin. It removes all makeup and leaves my skin super soft. It also smells really good and a little goes a long way. I massage it into my skin and remove it with a warm washcloth.
