Plant Therapy Skincare Haul & First Impressions

Plant Therapy Skincare Haul & First Impressions

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I absolutely love essential oils and natural skincare. So when Plant Therapy sent over some new skincare products to try, I couldn’t wait to share them!

This skincare collection includes products that fit perfectly into my current routine, and if you’ve watched my recent videos, you already know I’ve completely switched from traditional moisturizers to facial oils. My skin barrier, texture, and overall hydration have honestly never looked better.

Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Plant Therapy Vitamin C Serum, Advanced Antioxidant Facial Oil, Frankincense & Argan Roller, and their beautiful White Jade Gua Sha. Here is: Plant Therapy Skincare Haul & First Impressions.

Why I Love Plant Therapy

Before we jump into the products, I always like to share why I continue recommending Plant Therapy.

They’ve been around for a long time and have built a reputation for producing high-quality essential oils and natural products. They’re incredibly transparent about their sourcing and testing, which is something I always look for when choosing an essential oil company.

Beyond that, they offer so many products beyond essential oils, they’re very family-friendly, and their branding and packaging are always beautiful. They really check all the boxes for what I want in a wellness brand.

Plant Therapy Vitamin C Serum Review

The first product is the Vitamin C Serum.

I actually already own this serum, so this new bottle is going into my giveaway pile! I give away products every week through my email newsletter, so if you’re not already subscribed, be sure to join.

Why I Like This Vitamin C Serum

The serum comes in a 30 mL dropper bottle and feels incredibly lightweight on the skin.

Some of the standout ingredients include:

  • Vitamin C
  • Hyaluronic Acid

Vitamin C is one of the most researched skincare ingredients available. It’s known for helping brighten the complexion while supporting healthy-looking skin.

Hyaluronic acid is another favorite ingredient because it helps attract moisture, giving skin a plumper, more hydrated appearance.

This serum is suitable for all skin types, absorbs quickly, and never feels heavy or sticky.

How I Use It

I like applying the Vitamin C Serum before my facial oils in my nighttime skincare routine. Since it’s lightweight, it layers beautifully underneath oil-based products.

Plant Therapy Advanced Antioxidant Facial Oil Review

The product I was most excited to try is the Advanced Antioxidant Facial Oil with Turmeric and Vitamin C.

If you’ve watched my channel recently, you know I usually make my own facial oils. I actually don’t use traditional moisturizers anymore.

Instead, I rely almost exclusively on facial oils at night because I’ve noticed such a huge improvement in my skin.

My skin barrier feels healthier, my skin texture has improved, and my face stays hydrated much longer than when I used conventional moisturizers.

Why I Prefer Facial Oils

For me personally, moisturizers always felt like they just sat on top of my skin.

Facial oils, on the other hand, seem to nourish my skin much more effectively. Rather than simply creating a temporary layer on the surface, quality plant oils help soften the skin while supporting the skin barrier. When applied to slightly damp skin, they also help seal in hydration, leaving my skin feeling comfortable and balanced by morning.

Of course, everyone’s skin is different, but switching to facial oils has been one of the best skincare changes I’ve made.

Ingredients in the Facial Oil

This blend includes:

  • Jojoba Oil
  • Rosehip Oil
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E
  • Lemon Essential Oil
  • Turmeric

Jojoba and rosehip are actually two of my favorite carrier oils for facial skincare because they’re lightweight and have a low likelihood of clogging pores.

Different carrier oils work better for different skin types, so it’s worth learning which ones fit your skin’s needs.

This facial oil feels lightweight rather than thick or greasy, which is exactly what I look for.

I’m really excited to add it to my nightly routine.

Plant Therapy Frankincense & Argan Roller Review

I’ve been wanting a product like this for a long time.

The Frankincense & Argan Roll-On is designed specifically for skincare, and I plan to use it primarily under my eyes and around my “11 lines”—those vertical lines between the eyebrows where I tend to notice signs of aging.

Why I Love Frankincense Essential Oil

Frankincense has always been one of my favorite essential oils.

I often call it the “king of essential oils.”

Not only does it have an incredible aroma that instantly helps me feel grounded, but it’s also one of the most popular essential oils used in natural skincare routines.

The roller makes application incredibly simple. I just roll it under my eyes or onto areas where I want extra care, then gently pat it into my skin.

You can also use a facial massage tool afterward to help spread the product evenly.

Plant Therapy White Jade Gua Sha Review

The final product in this skincare haul is the White Jade Gua Sha.

I have a feeling my daughters are going to steal this almost immediately because they’re always borrowing my skincare tools!

This one feels really high quality. It’s thick, smooth, and beautifully made with the Plant Therapy logo engraved on it.

How to Use a Gua Sha

If you’re new to gua sha, the key is to be gentle.

I like to begin around the neck where lymph drainage occurs. From there, I gently move outward across my face before clearing downward again.

My routine usually looks something like this:

  • Start at the neck.
  • Gently glide outward from the center of the face.
  • Continue moving outward across the cheeks.
  • Work around the jawline.
  • Move across the forehead.
  • Repeat on the opposite side.

You’re not trying to scrape aggressively. Instead, think of it as gentle massage with light pressure.

What Can Gua Sha Do?

No, a gua sha isn’t going to replace Botox or create dramatic overnight results.

But it is a wonderful addition to a skincare routine. I love using it because it feels relaxing, encourages gentle facial massage, and is especially nice for supporting lymphatic drainage and reducing morning puffiness.

Final Thoughts on the Plant Therapy Skincare Collection

Overall, I’m really impressed with this skincare lineup.

I already know and love the Vitamin C Serum, and I’m especially excited to start using the Advanced Antioxidant Facial Oil alongside the Frankincense & Argan Roller as part of my nightly skincare routine.

Everything is also very reasonably priced, which makes these products even more appealing if you’re looking to build a natural skincare routine.
