Hey, beauties! Today I’m sharing my tips on how to prepare and stock up on pregnancy essentials at Sam’s Club. They have literally everything you need and it’s all in one place, the best part?… it’s a great place to get larger quantities of these things so you don’t have to shop as often! Shopping at Sam’s Club when you’re pregnant or a mom is so nice because you don’t have as much time to shop so stocking up is important and SO helpful.
Pregnancy Essentials at Sam’s Club
Prenatal Vitamins
My go-to is the Nature Made® Prenatal Multi + DHA (200mg), I took them with my first pregnancy and I am taking them again right now with my second. You can get a 5 month supply (Nature Made® Prenatal Multi + DHA (200mg) 150ct. soft gels) at Sam’s Club for under $20. I like them because they are just a one a day easy-to-swallow softgels and they’re clinically proven absorption of folic acid and iron. They’re also free from Synthetic Dyes, Yeast or Starch, Artificial Flavors, Gluten. Plus, you can trust Nature Made®’s high-quality standards – their products are made from carefully selected ingredients under strict manufacturing processes. I’ve mentioned them before and will always recommend the brand. *Side Note: Let’s talk about DHA and Folic Acid ✨Did you know you should start taking a prenatal vitamin 6 months before you start trying to get pregnant? ✨Nature Made® Prenatal Multi + DHA provides 200mg DHA which may help support fetal brain and eye development † and also all the folic acid your baby needs. ✨Folic Acid is an important B Vitamin for Women of Childbearing Age and Pregnant Women – It also plays a critical role in the proper development of the baby’s nervous system.† ✨Adequate folic acid in healthful diets may reduce a woman’s risk of having a child with a neural tube defect.
Water Bottle
You will be thirsty all the time and plan on it continuing through breastfeeding as well. So you need to have some good water bottles on hand. I like to keep one in all rooms of the house, the diaper bag, and my car.
Coconut Oil
This has been one of my go-to’s to hydrate the baby bump. I used it in my first pregnancy as well and didn’t get stretch marks. So grab a huge tub of it and slather away! *I apply it everywhere, not just my belly.
Journal
It is SO nice to be able to read some of my thoughts and updates through my first pregnancy so I’m really glad I kept a journal. Even though it might not always seem like it, pregnancy is such a quick season in your life so jot down some notes every few days.
Tissue
My first pregnancy was in the fall and winter so I didn’t’ have this problem as much then but stock up on tissue! I am 24 weeks right now in June and I have the worst allergies. I have been constantly blowing my nose, my doctor said it might be a combo of the allergies +pregnancy just makes you produce more mucus/snot/etc. Gross, right?!
Comfy Clothes
You’ll need a lot of comfortable clothes. I recommend getting some maternity sweats or just some yoga pants with the foldover waistband (maybe in a size up) and a cozy robe.
Ginger Tea
This helped me so much in the first trimester with nausea and digestion. Stock up mama!
