Tips

Water Water Water

I talk about staying hydrated a lot here on B&B because it benefits all aspect of your “beauty”. Turns out drinking enough water will also help your period suck less.

Werk It

Exercise is another one of those things that helps all aspects of life basically and it definitely helps with your period as well. Exercise should be one of the main components of your self-care in general.

Zzzzzzzzz

So if you are a mom or just a busy lady in general, you know a good night’s sleep can sometimes seem impossible. Take some melatonin, use lavender oil, ask your significant other/family members for help with the baby, do whatever you have to do to get some rest.

Vitamins

Take your vitamins and probiotics. Keep your body in overall good health by being consistent in eating well and taking your vitamins. I talk a lot about my favorites so be on the lookout for those here and on Insta.

Relaxxx & Pamper

Take a long hot bath. Make it the *best bath ever* with lavender oil, bubbles, wine, and a good read. After your bath, try some pampering routines that relax you and make you feel better, I like to paint my nails and do my makeup. You can always opt for a massage with some lavender oil (lavender is my secret weapon and you can obviously see I use it a lot, it’s so relaxing).

Your Lady Bits Deserve the Best

  1. I used to hate working out when on my period. Also, because I was on my period, I was never motivated to workout. But I’ve started to workout on my period recently and I feel like it actually makes the cycle a lot easier.

  2. I am currently pregnant (yet haven’t forgotten how much one needs to pamper on those days) but as soon as I go back to the real world I will definitely be checking seventh generation out! Thanks for the great tips x
