Skin Prep & Makeup To GLOW

Skin Prep & Makeup To GLOW Skin Prep & Makeup To GLOWHappy Monday! I hope you had a fun weekend with at least a little bit of sunshine. We relaxed and spent some time with family so it was fun. Who else is ready for spring? I usually don’t get spring fever this early but I can’t waiiiiiiit to plant some flowers and see what pops up that I forgot about last year. Anyways in case you missed it on IG I posted my video on how I prep my skin to get a glowing complexion and the makeup products I love to get an extra glow. I’ll add the video and products below so you can shop your faves! I also want to note: I think these are a good mix of drugstore products and luxury products. I always try to get a good mix. xx

My Thoughts

B&B Makeup Sponges

Obvi I love my own sponges, I just wanted to include them here in case you didn’t know about them yet! I sell them on Amazon right here. It’s a two pack (one small and one regular) of sponges to blend your whole face. They’re a m a z i n g quality and won’t rip and tear on you. I also chose the black color because it doesn’t stain. I promise you’ll LOVE them, they’re all I use now to blend my face makeup like primers, foundations, concealers, etc. I have an entire post and video right here on how to use and wash them.

BB Eye Cream

This is so hydrating and luxe. It leaves a glowing radiance on my skin too so it’s perfect to use to prep your skin for a glowy look!

Pixi Rose Balm

I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks now and it’s a m a z i n g. Floral scents are my fave so I love the light rose scent. It can be used as a moisturizer, primer, or moisture mask. I use it after I wash my face and before I do my makeup (so as a moisturizing primer). It leaves my skin so soft and it absorbs nicely. Deffo recommend this one to everyone.

Covergirl Go Glow

I just shared some new Covergirl goodies on my Instagram stories and this was one of the things I got from them. It’s a super lightweight illuminating moisturizer which I LOVE. I love that it’s light so you can layer it with your other moisturizer and primers. It gives my skin a nice radiance, not too much and not too little.

Covergirl Concealer

This is sort of like the YSL Touche Eclat, which is my favorite highlighting concealer. It’s a twist up, brush-on tube. It’s also a lightweight, easy to blend, light to medium coverage, natural finish concealer. It’s def worth a shot especially for the price, this may be my new fave, we’ll see how it goes after a few more uses.

Milk Blur Highlight Stick

This is a really cool product. I used it as a highlighter in this video but you can also use it as a blurring primer to your foundation which I can’t wait to use it as. Milk has easily become one of my go-to brands and I highly recommend checking them out.

BB Shimmer Brick

I have wanted to try these shimmer bricks for so l o n g. I was like *in tears* excited when I got a box full of goodies from Bobbi Brown. This is the shade Bronze and I used it as a bronzer to warm up and bronze my face. A little goes a long way so start light with these. I love the color and how long wearing these are.

BB Rose Glow

This is the most beautiful highlighter I’ve ever seen – and I’ve seen a lot of highlighters. It’s a beautiful rosy glow that I have been reaching for since I got my hands on.

Pixi Matte Lippie

These are the new matte lipsticks from Pixi. It’s no secret that Pixi is one of my favorite brands for both their skincare and makeup. I used the shade Pastel Petal, all of the shades are perfect neutrals. The wand is very flexible and takes a second to get used to but it deposits the perfect amount of product and it easy to apply. The formula doesn’t get super dry and make your lips crusty.

BB Mascara

I was really excited to try this but it took me some time to get used to the big wand (if you like smaller wands this probably isn’t for you). I really like the formula and how my lashes looked afterward, I can’t wait to use it again now that I know what the brush is like.

Shop

Thank you so much for taking time to watch and read today. I appreciate you!
