Spring Beauty Checklist

Spring Beauty Checklist

Spring is such an exciting time for me, getting to actually go outside without boots and mittens is such an amazing feeling!

There are some things to do beauty-wise to get ready for spring, are you ready?
Get a trim & Quench
I feel like in order to be ready for spring we need to shed the winter off, literally. So go get your hair trimmed! It’ll look fresh and ready for the nicer weather. Along with the trim start a deep conditioning treatment once or twice a week to revive your winter hair.
Go get that dead winter skin exfoliated right off, many places will have specials on facials during this time! Your skin will look and feel amazing, I promise. If you don’t want to go get a facial, at least start using a mask or peel at home once a week.
Now that your face is exfoliated and soft, start exfoliating the rest of you with a body scrub during showers.
Chances are you will be baring those toes soon, so pamper them! Go get a mani/pedi with your bff!
Spring Clean
Get rid of those clothes you haven’t worn in awhile. Sell them to a resale shop or donate them. Then go get some colorful new accessories to brighten up your spring look.
Revamp Your Makeup
Start really using those SPF foundations and BB creams, you’ll be outside a lot more. Bring out your lighter shadows, colorful lippies, bronzers and pretty highlighters.
Time for color! Put away your dark and mysterious shades, for now.
What are you doing to get ready for spring?
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

  • Hahah you're right!! It is an amazing feeling to not FREEZE outside anymore. I'm very happy Spring has decided to show face. It was toying with us for a while.
This is a great checklist, very similar to what I have planned in my head for the upcoming week or two. I've already got my spring cleaning done, thank GOODNESS and now it's just about my beauty stuff. Woo Hoo! Broke out the SPF and am currently waiting for an appointment to the dermatologist to get to the bottom of my super-dry and sensitive skin. I'm hoping there is going to be a facial…!! 😉 I mean, I know they do it too so don't hold out on me!
I had to laugh a little about the nails, I'm totally in agreement that it's time to put away the dark colors but I've just painted my nails black.. Hahahah. Oh the irony, I had baby pink nails most of the winter!!

    Much LOVE!!
