Summer Vacation Essentials

Summer Vacation EssentialsHey guys! If you’re anything like me, vacations are for making memories and not spending your time on getting ready. But if you’re also like me, you want to feel and look your best all most of the time. We travel quite a bit so I am used to packing my bathroom/vanity into a tiny travel bag. I’ve tested out tons of stuff that’s going to save you time and steps while making you feel your best while your out and about! Here are my Summer Vacation Essentials.

Skincare

Have a good fresh cleanser that’s going to cleanse your skin without stripping it of its natural oils.

When it comes to moisturizer, I love having the Milk cooling water stick one because it’s so nice after being in the sun. e.l.f. also has a stick that is supposed to be a dupe, I’ll add it to the shop section below.

Another cooling product that I love to have is the H2O+ hydrating eye balm stick, its super cooling and amazing for under eye puffiness.

I love having my Mario Badescu facial sprays at all times but especially during the summer months, I couldn’t go on vacation without it.

I need a good night cream whenever I stay over somewhere too, the Pixi beauty sleep cream is an amazing nighttime moisturizer and smells like lavender (bonus).

Lastly in the skincare category is a good lip product. I always have my Sunbum lip balms with SPF but lately I can’t live without the Clarins lip oils.

Makeup

My summer makeup routine is fairly simple. For foundation I wear the Complexion Rescue that I’ve been wearing all year.

I love the YSL concealer and know it won’t let me down so that’s the one I always grab.

I recently got Benefit’s line of brow products and I seriously love everything, so my recommendation is to bring a trusty brow pencil.

Pack a waterproof mascara if you have one, I don’t right now (I just skip mascara if I’m going to be jumping in the water) so I have my Givenchy 4-in-1 but I will also link my favorite drugstore mascara below.

Blush/Bronzer/Highlighter, bring something that you’re used to and that’s universal. Make sure you bring shades dark enough for your newly bronzed skin from vacay. The Wander beauty sticks are perfect for travel because the products are amazing and they are double-ended, saving you space in your bag.

You’re also going to want to being along a translucent powder to save you from excessive oil/sweat whether it be from dancing the night away or just out walking around. I think the new Pixi one is so perfect, the powder comes up through the puff applicator and it has a mirror on the end.

The last thing here is to pick a neutral nail color and bring the bottle for emergency touchups. I’ve been dying over the whole OPI CA Dreaming collection, the shade pictured is called Feeling Frisco.

Hair

Make sure you bring a leave-in conditioner because all the sun is going to dry your hair out.

I also always pack a wave spray so I can just spritz that on my hair and go after showering.

Dry shampoo is an essential as well, I’ll link my favorite below.
