What I Used To Prevent Stretch Marks Besides Lotion

Hey, beauty! If you’re reading this I’m still pregnant (so send all your patient vibes this way). This is my second pregnancy and with Emery, I was 4 days late so I sort of expected this but the wait is still driving me crazy. I am scheduled to be induced on Friday morning so if baby girl doesn’t come before then we at least know when she’ll be here. Any other mamas go late with their pregnancy?

Anyway, being my second pregnancy and that I haven’t gotten any stretch marks I thought I would share what I’ve been using. Like everything, specifically skincare, consistency is key. Also, this doesn’t mean you won’t get stretch marks at all, sometimes we can’t fight genetics and there are many factors that play into stretch marks.

What I Used To Prevent Stretch Marks Besides Lotion

Kopari Coconut Melt

This is the nicest coconut oil I’ve used. It melts nicely and smells SO good.

MD Lavender Oil | Hydrating Oil

This oil is nice because it absorbs pretty fast. It has a light lavender scent which I love.

I AM Organic Lavender & Rosemary Oil

I love this one because it has so many skin benefits from the blend of jojoba oil, sesame oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil, olive oil, hemp oil, and vitamin E oil. You can shop this one here.

H2o+ Teak Rose On The Move Body Butter Stick

If I’m in a hurry this is the one I grab. It is SO easy to apply, being a stick, and super hydrating.

Glow 9 Organics Belly Butter | Organic Shea & Cocoa Butter

I love this butter so much! I got it in a Bump Box (you can check them out here) and I’ve used almost the whole tub. It’s a thick butter and smoothes on nicely. It does take a while to absorb but it’s such a rich butter so that was expected. I really think it has made a difference.
