What is Sea Buckthorn Oil?

Think lots of Omegas, vitamins, and antioxidants.

From Seabuck Wonders website about Omegas:

Omega 3: Studies on plant based omega 3 show positive cardiovascular effects, possible protection against autoimmune disorders and healthy inflammation response.

Omega 6: Omega-6 is an essential fatty acid that can provide blood pressure support, support for eczema and plays an important role for brain function.

Omega 9: Omega-9 may help glucose and insulin levels stay in balance. Other studies show autoimmune/ inflammatory support as well as support for wound healing.

Omega 7: Omega 7 is a little known fatty acid that is amazing for health, wellness and beauty applications. It’s not very well known because it’s found in very few sources. It can be found in some fish and nuts- but the source with the highest amount of omega 7 is the sea buckthorn berry. It has shown promise for maintaining healthy cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels and may also to help smooth artery passages which helps artery walls stay strong.

Berry Oil vs Seed Oil?

There are two different forms of the oil, berry and seed oils. The 2 smell and look different and also have different benefits.

Berry Oil: Bright orange and sweet. High in Omega 7 and can support digestive health, cellular health and mucous membranes in the body. It can be used on scars to speed up the healing process. It’s also used on psoriasis and eczema. You can use the oil internally or topically.

Seed Oil: Bright yellow, nutty flavor. Seed oil can support immunity and healthy inflammation response. It can also support heart and liver health. Tons of antioxidants and great for anti-aging. You can also use it internally or topically.

Hair, Skin, and Nails Supplement

I have definitely noticed a difference in my hair, skin, and nails. My skin is softer, my hair has been growing like a weed, which is good and bad because I’m trying to keep this “shorter” more medium style hair and now I have to go get a hair cut again but I’ll take it! My nails are also growing very fast and are stronger, like usual when I take a product with biotin.

Seabuck Wonders

They are the original Sea Buckthorn company, and have been around since 1994. They maintain the highest of standards for their products by using only pure Himalayan, USDA Certified Organic Sea Buckthorn berries. I know I’ve talked a lot about organic products lately but organic means there are no pesticides (bad for us and the environment) and that the product is non-GMO (GMO’s are linked to lots of health issues). They also remind me of Young Living in that they have their own crops so they can regulate everything and have complete control over everything.

DIY’s

You can mix these oils with other oils and create skincare products. I feel like such a chemist or scientist when I’m in my bathroom mixing up oils but I AM OBSESSED. Since using natural products, my skin and hair have been amazing. There are too many benefits not to get into oils you guys. PLANTS + OILS ARE LIFE.

  1. Do you still take sea buckthorn. WHich companies would you recommend. I have heard that sea buckthorn form China does not contain many nutrients compared to that produced in other countries? Is that true?
